Go Therefore and Make Disciples of all Nations…

Matt 28

Changing Lives, Rebuilding Futures

We achieve this by our three tiered approach

EVANGELISM – We share the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ for it is the power of God that leads to salvation. The born-again experience is the single most important internal change a person can have to radically transform their life for good.
EDUCATION – Education changes individuals, communities, future generations and is the single most important external factor to break the cycle of poverty. Our programs also provide housing, nutritious food, clean water and healthcare to end the cycle of sickness and malnutrition.
ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT - We empower the body of Christ with individual mentoring or vocational training to become self sufficient... to utilize their skills & giftings to last a lifetime. We "teach to fish” so they can use their God-given skillsets for sustenance and income-generation.

All in caring and loving Christian environments.

EVANGELISM

“Go therefore and make disciples in all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit”

Prison Ministry

“I was in prison and you came to me” Matt 25

Thanks be to God who has given this ministry favor and open doors to go into the Prisons and share the love of Christ. We are especially grateful to our local Kenyan brothers whom we have allied with, who have favored status with the Area Prison Warden and with the Chaplains of the Men’s Units and the Women’s Units in Kenya.

Other Crusades in Africa

Over the years, some wonderful relationships have been made with dear African brothers & sisters so that many doors are open in African nations for Stephen & Kimberly to preach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ with signs following. Salvations, healings and deliverances take place each time to the Glory of God. (Mark 16:17)

Other Nations

God has opened the doors for us to minister in many nations including Kenya, Ghana, Philippines, Jamaica, Pakistan, Mexico and the U.S. The three pillar model of Evangelism, Education and Empowerment are applicable to any people group in practically any nation to radically transform individuals and their communities.

Bungoma County School

Rural Schools in Western Kenya struggle for viability. However, a small orphanage/school began in 2012 by Dr. Dwight Abbott of England had moderate success. In 2018, God enabled Stephen & Kimberly to work on the ground there, then to adopt the orphanage & school as their assignment. Several school buildings later, with a much larger student enrollment, many more Teachers, Security Guards, Cooks, Maintenance & Liaison Personnel the “Abbott” Christian School and Foster Parent Program are hugely successful.

Newest African School

Our newest School Site Construction Project in Western Kenya was completed and opened for use in August of 2023 thanks to the generous funding of The Rock Church,  Bridgeport. The project consists of a 10 Room/ 200 student Primary School, Water Well, Separate Kitchen Building & Separate Building for Latrines, along with a Gated Entrance, Gateman’s Building and perimeter fencing.

Secondary School Scholarships

Many African nations still do not provide free High School nor free accessible Middle School to children in rural areas. Research for Kenya in 2022 indicates that secondary school enrollment nationwide is just over 50%. More broadly, 2.5 million children aged 4-17 have never been to school (UNICEF 2022)

Research and our experience proves that many children will not graduate 8th grade much less the 12th grade without assistance.
Please consider helping one or more children graduate Middle School &/or High School.

EMPOWERMENT

“Give a fish, feed for a day… teach to fish, feed for a lifetime” Empowerment programs help the body of Christ become self sufficient by discovering and utilizing their skills to last a lifetime. Our programs help adults learn how to start businesses or get jobs that bring economic stability and growth to their community. This process transfers wealth more quickly and directly into poverty stricken communities.  Entrepreneurs and self employed persons also employ others especially when using a Vocational Training Center to precisely train individuals based on local industry needs. Empowerment is in part, what discipling a nation’s people looks like.
